About Touchstone Glazing Solutions
Drawing on over a quarter of a century of experience in the craft of stained glass and a profound knowledge of what is crucial to make a good window. We believe we have created windows and doors which look as beautiful and attractive as the original whilst offering the absolute best of insulating properties and protecting the delicate fabric of the buildings making them ideal for listed and historic buildings. Touchstone Glazing Solutions and it’s sister company Design Glass are based in Brighouse, West Yorkshire. Touchstones patented Insulead® glazing system and Steelyte® opening casements were designed specifically to overcome the problem of double glazing windows in a heritage and listed building situation. No modifications to the existing fabric of the building is required as our Insulead® glazing fits where the original window was located and is made using only traditional materials and techniques. Touchstone have also developed an opening casement made of stainless steel which have been designed to look like and have the benefits of traditional metal window, whilst offering the absolute best of insulating properties. Both of our double glazed windows are perfect for any listed buildings or heritage sites.
