Homeowners

At Touchstone, we believe in being upfront and transparent throughout the whole process. Our bespoke glazing solution allows us to put together an estimate based on approximate sizes and elevation photographs.

Site Visits

As a company, we understand how important it is to get the windows right on a building as they can make or break the overall look of a building and how difficult this decision can be. Therefore we are more than happy to make no obligation site visits, where we can bring samples and offer our glazing solution.

We also understand that when working on Listed buildings it can be necessary to meet up with conservation officers or representatives from Historic England and are more than happy to offer this as part of our service. Our site visits will include helpful information regarding your type of listed building and the main steps for introducing double glazing in listed buildings and heritage sites.

Workshop Visits

At Touchstone, we believe a visit to the workshop is key to understanding everything we do.

From manufacturing the double glazed units to designing new handles and stays, we are always busy at Albion Mill. You will get to see all the different shapes and sizes that we can make.

Feel free to call in anytime - just let us know when you’re thinking of coming and we will make sure there is someone is here to show you around the workshop and answer any questions.

How We Work

In the first instance, we understand that knowing an idea of cost implications can help with decision making therefore we can offer an estimate via email. In order to do this we would require the following information:

• Elevation photographs showing all the windows

• Architects plans or approximate measurements

• Number of fixed windows

• Number of opening casements

• A postcode/ address for the project

• Type of glazing required e.g Leaded, Albion Crowne® glass etc

If this estimate is acceptable we can then arrange any Site/Workshop visits, samples, drawings etc.

We will then put together a detailed order contract before we commit to manufacture. This ensures that you have a clear understanding of what we are going to manufacture, therefore eliminating any miss understanding or the possibility of mistakes.

The Process

Top quality customer care is always our aim at Touchstone and we understand the need to keep our customers informed every step of the way through your new window production. Therefore from the moment you contact us we will give you as much support and information as you require.

Providing site visits with architects, conservation officers or Historic England and including technical drawings and samples. We know house renovation is always a dauting task, so we make our process simple and easy.
