Our team of skilled craftsmen will firstly conduct a full site survey which will ensure all windows are measured internally and externally. All shaped and out of square windows are templated to the nearest millimetre to ensure a snug fit. This allows for Touchstone windows to be fitted directly into stone, brickwork, concrete and timber sub frames.

All our opening and fixed casements are fixed with stainless steel screws that are appropriate to the structural opening ensuring no damage takes place to the building or property. The beauty of our Insulead® fixed windows is they are lead clipped in which is similar to original single glazed historic units. This means no modification to the stonework is needed and the fitting of the unit is fully reversible in accordance with Historic England guidance. These are then pointed in using modified polymer. Additionally, this can then be pointed over with mortar that is applicable to the building if required. This technique gives an almost frameless appearance to each double glazed window.
