‍ ‍Encapsulation

We are able to take an existing or new leaded light and encapsulate it into a double glazed unit. This ensures protection of the leaded light whilst also improving the windows thermal performance.

Additional information

Our encapsulation service allows you to enjoy your original leaded light as a thermal efficient double glazed window. We are able to take your original leaded light and use our sister company Design Glass to restore it. We can then place the leaded light into our BFRC ‘A’ double glazed unit.

Due to our unique ability to double glaze any shaped window, our encapsulation service is particularly useful when it comes to churches and chapels, especially when converting a former place of worship into a new home.
